ENGLISH

The Oxford International Curriculum builds a solid language foundation and skills (Listening – Speaking – Reading – Writing) for students. In addition to equipping basic language skills, the curriculum also focuses on fostering students’ social competence and understanding through rich learning content and activities.

LITERACY & CULTURE

Students are nurtured and developed their understanding of English literature in particular and world culture in general right from the first years of primary school by exposuring to diverse literary genres, from fairy tales, poetry to short stories and novel excerpts.

Through that, students can develop emotional intelligence, humanistic lifestyle and language skills (listening, speaking, reading, writing).

STORY TELLING

Students improve their cultural and literary capital and demonstrate understanding through verbal re-enactment and role-playing of what they have learned and heard stories.

Through this activity, students develop active verbal skills (speaking skills) combined with expressive speech and acting abilities. Thereby, students develop linguistic thinking, imagination, creative thinking and coordination ability.

CROSS CURRICULAR

Cross curricular helps students expand their understanding of scientific knowledge.

It also helps children develope logical thinking, critical thinking, listening comprehensio, reading comprehension, writing and speaking skills.

Wellbeing - Health, Social Emotion Management

Wellbeing aims to help students achieve the holistic development of physical and mental health. This provides practical lessons for students, giving them skills they can apply in their lives today and in the future.

The curriculum is made up of four closely interrelated strands

Taking care of the body

Learn and build good habits for the body such as taking care of sleep, eating healthy to develop both physically and mentally

Taking care of the mind

Be aware of one’s emotions, control negative biases, and promote positive thinking

Taking care of relationships

Develop and maintain friendships, demonstrate love and connection within the family, build relationships with others through specific actions

Taking care of the self and the world

Identify one’s strengths and set personal development goals. Understand that you are part of society and can make a positive contribution to surroundings.

Global Skills Projects

The Global Skills Project program helps students realize their potential through creative problem-solving, multi-dimensional idea sharing, and teamwork in project implementation. During the process, students discuss their favorite activities, share ideas, and listen to their teachers and peers. In addition, students have the opportunity to network and behave politely with their classmates and connect with each other so that no one is left behind. Forming students’ skills in setting up and implementing a plan for a project is also one of the important goals of the program.
